Mini album handmade - 15x15 cm Sweet memories

If someone were to define my universe, they would probably use the word "childish". Even though I'm an adult, I don't think I really got out of my childhood. I would love to have my own whimsical world, surrounded by my animal friends and fairies from my backyard. And I think this is why I love so much, creating scrapbook photo albums for newborns or small children. So when it comes to the choice of the paper I will be using to create on my album, I always favour the child atmosphere. And if there are animals, it's the cherry on the cake.

Concerning the creation I am presenting today, my heart felt for the sweet collection of Lemoncraft. And I liked this collection (girl and boy) so much that I made 3 albums out of it. The characters combined with bears and rabbits are so sweet. It inspires love and friendship. So, what better collection of paper to hold a child's priceless memories?

Mini album handmade - 15x15 cm - Pages overview

This mini scrapbooking album measures 15x15 cm. And it is composed of 12 pages. I wanted something really simple to highlight the sweetness of the character. Each page can contain an image in polaroid format (10x10cm). The decor is delicately distributed all around leaving enough room for sweet memories. I choose different shades of blue to complement the beige of the paper designed by Lemoncraft. To keep the feeling of calm throughout the mini handmade album, I used paper crafted from the action, imitating natural materials such as wood and straw. So as not to be boring, I created a bit of dynamism by playing with shapes and layering. Finally, I try not to overload the page by alternating pages with only one subject and pages with more. Last original touch, I closed the album with lace in the centre.

On a technical point, I used the Lemoncraft - Boy's Little World collection. I combined it with a paper block and die cuts from Action. The structure is made of Craft Emotions Linen 12x12 cardstock and 2mm cardboard for the cover.
